When the Society takes to plagarizing empty-headed apostates, can the end be far off? Apparently the Watchtower's doom is imminent! ROTFLOL / You Know

You are the one who posted your name. I merely asked if the Internet persona of Tallyman committed the crime of murder. And you yourself have admitted that you killed your brother. So I am not making a completely unfounded accusation as you pretend. And since this is a discussion forum for Jehovah's Witnesses, and I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and it was you who brought up the subject of God's judgment, which is entirely seperate from human law, it is entirely appropriate then that I refer to Jehovah's judgments. And God's word reveals that he considers apostates and those who hate the brothers to be murderers. In God's eyes murder is an attitude, not necessarily an act. As for the accursed children, Jehovah's word says that they have "rushed into the path of Cain." To refresh your memory, Cain was the first man to kill his brother. / You Know

I've had newbies come along and use that term for me and wonder what I do that is so sneaky?
That's funny. I wonder if any of them have asked Cygnus if he is really sick?

Uh huh, or you could just apologize!
The only person that I might owe an apology is you, for our fairly heated exchange last Friday, and so I apologize for calling you stupid or whatever I said. As for anyone else, I don't see it. Making up goofy little screen names as parodies of goofy screen names does not constitute slander. Calling Seeker "Sneeker", or Cygnus "Cyknus" is akin to calling Nixon "Tricky Dick." It was accepted in all of journalism as his nickname because someone pinned it on him. I don't take offense when some poster refers to me as "You Don't Know" or "Boobie." It's just part of the game. Admittedly, such name tinkering is not flattering, it is intended to show distain, but neither is it slander. Neither is my asking Tallyman if he murdered his brother an act of slander and so there's no reason that I should apologize to him. / You Know

But my fervrent wishes are for your departure from here.
That's been the fervent wish of many apostates. I think that's the whole point. The problem now is that some hate-filled apostates are willing to step out of cyberland and try to get in my face. Given the hornets nest that I stirred up, looks like it might be best if I took my leave.
I wish I could slap your face.
No doubt you are not alone. I imagine that some of you would like to do a bit more than just slap my face.
I have rarely met someone I actually despise. But YOU've done that here for me.
It is obvious that many of you are seething with pent up hatred and rage against the Watchtower. I think that I just act as a lightening rod for many of you by my presence.
Someone needs to put a stop to you and let you suffer the long overdue consequences to your continued heinous behavior
That certainly sounds very threatening to me. What do you mean exactly? How far are you willing to go to shut me up?

There is absolutely no reason for you to be discussing this on a public board except to intimidate, bully and try to rally support for your personal affront.
I appreciate your observation. I would go so far as to call their antics a form of blackmail intended to drive me from participating in this forum. In fact, if there's any legitimate grounds for a lawsuit, or perhaps even criminal prosecution, I've got them. And I will say too, that if there is any spill-over from the arguments here in cyberland to my personal affairs, with the intent of harrassing me, I will hold the parties legally responsible, including this board for allowing this sort of thing to occur. / You Know

WTB&T DOESN'T USE MIND CONTROL???
by Liberty ini was stunned to see that one of our new posters doesn't believe that the society uses mind control on its members.
i think that the fact that they don't see it is evidence of just how deep the control really goes.
have they never read 1984 by george orwell?

The trauma that many ex-JWs go through is exactly the same as one would go through upon learning that one's mother is a street whore, and that she doesn't know who the father of any of her children is.
Please, this is really not the forum for airing your soiled family linens. / You Know

The fact that many ex-JW's must go through counceling to help them with the irrational fear and guilt impossed
by Watch Tower brain washing is also reason enough to believe they use such techniques. The reason many ex-JW's go through such an ordeal is because they are weak-minded and lack the ability to reconcile their supposed faith with with various paradox's and irregularities that they encounter in the Watchtower organization. The apostle Paul noted how some thrusted aside faith and a good conscience and so experienced a catastrophic "shipwreck" of their faith. For the most part apostate Jw's are those whose parents bequeathed to them a religion but not a genuine faith that was able to stand up to the test. So, yes, when one jetisons the values that one had been raised with and leaves life-long friends and a familiar way of life, there is going to be considerable mental and emotional trauma. And it is typical of apostates to blame their former "faith" for their predicament and for the victimizer to pretend to be the victim. / You Know

To YOU KNOW: The "Anointed" & Bab...
by MDS inrecently this question was posed by "perfect" on "beliefs, doctrines & practices" forum.. recently the wt have been stating more then ones that they got liberated from babylon 1919. that they got "out from her".
-- please see 1 peter 1:23; 1 john 3:9; 2 peter 1:16.. therefore, there are no anointed christians among the jehovahs witnesses today!!.
to teach that the "spirit-begotten anointed" of god have been left "in the dark" in total ignorance by jesus christ, is also false and an impossibility, based upon 1 john 2:20, 27. it is impossible.. critical conditions of "ignorance", as "you know" has asserted, then cannot exist among the truly, spirit-begotten anointed congregation of god.

Actually there is a biblical precedent for what took place back before and after 1919 with regard to being re-baptized. The situation of the Bible Students was similar to that of Jesus' original disciples who were on hand for the out-pouring of the spirit on Pentecost. Those 120 disciples were all under the Law covenant, and no doubt most if not all of them had been baptised in the Jordan by John the Baptiser. So, when the anointing spirit was poured out upon them, it was not necessary for them to be baptised in water in the name of Jesus because the holy spirit served as their baptism. However, after Pentecost those who were originally anointed became the nucleus of a new nation under the New Covenant. It then became necessary for all new disciples to be baptised, or even re-baptised, into Christ in recognition of the new organization that Jehovah had formed. Apollos was one disciple that was re-baptized.
So it is similar to what took place back in 1919. Christendom had served God's purpose up to that point, but after Christ's presence began the anointed were released from the authority of Christendom, and from that point onward it became necessary for anointed ones to be re-baptised in recognition of that fact.
It centers around the thought that the "ANOINTED", that's the "spirit-begotten" Anointed Congregation of God, can be left in total "ignorance" toward God's requirements for them.
It is you who has made a fatal flaw in your reasoning. No one is saying that the slave is in total ignorance of God's requirements. That's your presumption. Jesus' parable simply shows that he corrects his erring slave with a few strokes before he exalts him over all his belongings. Jesus already acknowledges that the slave will be happy if he is, upon his master's arrival, found feeding the household of his fellow servants. It illustrates the obvious truth that the Society is not perfectly doing Jehovah's will, but yet is ultimately approved by him after being disciplined. Doesn't the Scripture say that God scourges everyone whom he receives as a son? It certainly does. So the lashing that the master lays on his faithful, but erring slave, is evidence of his sonship. / You Know
